Stay away from this place

Room was nothing like in the pictures, carpet was old and dirty. Bathroom was outdated and nasty. A/c had a hole so you could see outside. Free breakfast was a joke no actual food just coffe and bread. Paid $300 a night for this crap.

They tried to overcharge me for stain to bedsheet that I did not cause. The photo they sent of the bedsheet appeared to have blood on it. At no point in my stay was I bleeding at any point. Unfortunately, it must have been in a location where I was unable to see it during my stay, otherwise I would have notified hotel staff immediately. How gross to think that I slept on a bedsheet that had someone else's blood on it. They also stated that there were excessive stains on towels. Upon reviewing the photo they sent, these appear to be minor stains. Additionally, nowhere on the Ts and Cs that I had signed, is it outlined what is considered an "excessive stain" and how a guest is responsible for charges related to stains. Were the towels attempted to be washed prior to over-charging me? When is a mark on a linen considered a stain? How is the guest held responsible for these stains? These are all questions that are not clarified in the terms and conditions for which I had signed. Very frustrating experience

Rundown property

Room was old, with a worn carpet and bathroom need of repairs, ie, broken tile, bad tub plug, toilet cover did not fit properly and awkward toilet lever location. Also, the free breakfast only consisted of coffee, granola bars, instant oat meal packages and cold cereal.

The room was small, but clean. It is very dated. Being that that people come to this hotel to go to the beach, the room was a bit musty smelling. Probably because of the carpet. The door opened to the outside so we heard a lot of parking lot and street noise.

The property is undergoing a needed renovation. Happily there was no construction noise while we were there. The carpets were filthy (as noted by clean feet walking over them). It was quiet, and convenient.

The breakfast is laughable! You really can’t call it breakfast. The rooms are filthy and is disrepair. The beds are bricks as well as the pillows. The second floor walk way feels like it is going to collapse in some places. The water tastes HORRIBLE! I should have taken more pictures but this is just one.
