Super clean basic room, fantastic breakfast and central location. 5 min walk up, you are at Taksim Square, and can walk 15 mins from there to Galata Tower, or take the metro to the airport. 15 min walk down, and you are at Karakoy-Kabatas area, and can take the tram to Sultanahmet & Eminonu, or take the ferry to Fener/Halic or the Asian side (Uskudar/Kadikoy). Added bonus are the kind staff! Highly recommend.

Great hotel within walking distance of all the major sights. And if needed, the metro and tram are really close and taxis are abundant.
We enjoyed our daily breakfast (nice selection of Turkish food) and the rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked great! The beds were firm (which was fine by us) and the rooms were quiet. The staff is so friendly and eager to help. We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend Carina Gold to our friends.
