Me and my family went to Switzerland for a fun planned trip we found a listing near the Zurich HB station for check in we had at 3pm we got there around 3:15pm we looked at the main desk we saw that it said go to the back door while there was a whole check in desk at the front fully empty at the back we had to wait around 45 minutes for the owner to come around to check me and my family in and not just that we entered the building to see that our room still wasn’t ready after an hour and 45 minutes of waiting they finally finished cleaning, we entered the room to see still a couple trash pieces on the ground and to find out the listing didn’t have AC even though it mentioned having AC instead they give us a broken down taped fan as a replacement and at the end to end it off they only provide one bathroom to share to other hotel customers with 65 Swiss francs for room service that was horrible very bad experience with heat during the night only having a useless broken down fan very bad hotel and the worst experience nobody should ever have to stay here and have to feel this pain.

Good stay at a very well-located hotel. For my 35th anniversary, the hotel upgraded my room. I really appreciate it. I will stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location The property is very clean the staff is excellent and very accommodating. I would recommend this hotel 100% nothing was disappointing for me

So positives the staff is outstanding and very accommodating. The property location is outstanding to see old town Zürich. 10 min walk to the main train station. Now the property does not have air conditioning but they provided portable air conditioning to the rooms. The room and the shower are compact so if you are on the big size of things it will be tight. I would recommend for a short stay.

Nice shower. Room layout was ridiculous —- one side of the bed against the wall and if a person was sitting in the only chair at the desk, the view of the tv for someone in bed is blocked. Asked for daily cleaning of room and that didn’t always happen. Requested a 4 a.m wake up call to catch an early flight. No call. Luckily, we woke up early enough to rush to make our flight. When I mentioned it to receptionist on check out, he just shrugged! We had asked the night before check out if there were any charges on our account and was assured there were none. The morning receptionist said we owed 10 plus CHF! Would never stay at this hotel again and was surprised to learn this is a Marriott property as they have higher standards than this!

This hotel is so convenient to the river, very close to Chapel Bridge and so many other things to do in the city. The breakfast was a real nice touch and so nicely done. The only thing I can say that is not 100% positive about this hotel is the size of the bathroom. I've stayed in many hotels in Europe and they are not necessarily known for their grandiose size, but the shower is so tiny that it was a challenge. It is a beautiful room/bath but the bath is just so very small. However, that would not keep me from returning, it is just something that I think I would want to know, especially if the guest is a larger or less ambulatory person it may create a challenge. I would definitely return for the convenience and proximity to the train station in Lucerne as well!
