Bathroom outlet was taped over, so the hair dryer didn't work. Windows were fogged. Refrigerator was unplugged, and AC was off when we arrived. The lobby was very hot as it was not properly air conditioned.

A Door County Treasure

I love staying here! The property is well kept with gorgeous landscaping. The rooms are impeccably cleaned. I asked for extra decaf coffee at check-in and they immediately made sure i had extras. The outdoor pool is clean, relaxing. Maya at front desk was so wonderful. Angie too. Housekeeping provides a basket each day of towels, coffee, soap if you need it. Wonderful place. My family was 1 mile away and i walked there daily. This is a Door County treasure.

The Somerset Inn was conventiently lovated with plenty of parking. The suite we reserved was large and well stocked with kitchen items and nice furniture. The bed was a little soft for us, but we made do. The bedroom was very warm with the door closed since the AC was in the living room. We would have loved a night light to help us navigate to the bathroom in the dark. Restocking the used towels with a full basket worked out well until we realized just before bed one night that that day's fresh basket of towels was not left by the staff. Problem was remedied immediately by a call to the front desk. If we had not noticed until after the front desk closed, we would have gone without. All in all, we enjoyed the stay, the pools and lounge areas were nice and the staff was super-friendly and accomadating. We would stay again.

Our suite was spacious and clean. Well stocked. The toilet paper was very thin. The stairs going up to the second level need replacing. I was scared every time i went up or down The hall had an irritating smell Both in and outdoor pools were clean and warm.

For the price I thought the room was great. The bedroom was a separate room off the living room. Full size coffee maker, micro wave, sink, small refrigerate, Jacuzzi tub. Cooked steaks on one of the grills by the fire ring.
