We arrived to check in at 4:20pm and our room still wasn't ready, even though check in started at 3pm. The desk staff were friendly and apologetic but unable to provide a reason why. The room was available to check in to around 5pm. We were given complimentary breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience, which was very nice. Unfortunately, the next morning, there was a sign saying the restaurant wasn't available and they had a buffet. The buffet was fine, nothing special, but I feel bad for the people who paid for breakfast to be added. The room was clean and nice. We did have to request additional linens for the pullout bed which was strange that they weren't already available. For the price for one night, I am slightly disappointed. Holiday Inn is usually a safe option and hopefully this was just a fluke.

Hidden Fees

Location was perfect, amenities were great, I thought the cost was great until I got a text asking if I wanted to pay for parking and the dog fee ahead of time. This added 60 onto my bill. It was in the fine print, hidden within links. Just wish it was more transparent. Interesting that my car information was not taken at check-in.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Pillows either flat or rock hard. No tea in lobby. Or one bag of Lipton. Lipton in room but doesn’t work with a keurig. No breakfast. $4 parking fee for surface lot. Loud physical fights and cursing, people on ground in parking lot after 1 am below out window when trying to sleep. Otherwise very quiet. Ice only on alternating floors. Stairways smelled like dead mice. Staff was nice and helpful and kind. Didn’t get maid service so no comment on that. Price seems a bit high. Across from tractor supply and u haul but Aldi is right nearby. Newer hotel. Busy area but lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Price for a 2 oz glass of wine (red wine should not be served chilled!) in the bar was insane. $9? Rooms were pretty clean and well maintained but hotel is only four years old. Members get free laundry but we didn’t use it. Pool was closed one day. Not sure why. Workout room is pretty large.

Clean and Comfortable!

The staff from the front desk to housekeeping at this Holiday Inn were absolutely fantastic and accommodating. The hotel is pretty clean for the most part. My only issue was the musty odor in the bathroom. Seemed to be coming from the shower curtain. Outside of that, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We will stay here each time we travel home.
