Move down the road

My wife and I are in our 80's and wanted a first floor room. Ours was a half floor down (6 steps) . Either no first floor rooms were available or the young woman at the desk lacked authority to move us. My wife uses a rollator but we managed. The wall controls for the air conditioning were missing. We were told to stand on the couch and reach the controls over our head. I have photos. In the shower we could only get luck warm water although the sink in the other room had hot water. When I went to exit the side door nearest the room I was attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets. I was stung in the head before I could step back inside and close the door. I immediately advised the front desk and suggested a sign be placed on the door. Two days later when we checked out, no sign or removal of the wasps.

Literally nothing around. Restaurants seemed to be popping. Room was actually really nice and looked updated. Great staff. Room was clean and better condition than most in this price range.

A lot of people left reviews about the breakfast that confused me, but they weren't kidding - I have never been to a hotel at this price point that has such a full-service breakfast included in the stay. The warm apples! It was quite a treat.

It is an older property but the beds are comfortable and the included breakfast is wonderful. It isn’t your typical breakfast of cereal and muffins. You can choose to order eggs, pancakes, etc, all made to order.

I dont expect a whole lot for such a low price BUT

Saturday night the people above me had running and screaming children until well after midnight. There were whole sections of peeling paint on the door. The light above the sink didnt work so that whole area was very dark. The outlet by the desk for the coffeemaker and table lamp didnt work.
