Disappointed that when we booked and paid for a King room with Marina views thru Expedia the hotel had no rooms left and changed the room to a 2 beds (smaller doubles) with a lake view. The hotel itself is excellent. No longer will book thru Expedia, as this has happened twice on our trip 😡

The brightest spot on my trip to Erie. What a beautiful waterfront, and the Sheraton is the best hotel there. Clean room, spectacular views, and friendsly service. All for a very affrodable price. I go to Erie often and will certainly make this my go-to hotel stay.

Facilities - engineering has not checked or did not clean the HVAC filters. No exhaust ventilation in bathroom. Not enough light in the bathroom. Housekeeping - the lower shower door track needs deep cleaning. Shower door needs adjusted, it does not roll easily.

This is a property in transition, so be aware. They were terribly understaffed in all of the common areas—to the point that they had no one to stock the bathrooms. When I went to let the front desk know, they said that the next shift would have to deal with it (many hours away). The “club floor” had woefully limited bites of food (a few scraps of meat and maybe a dozen crackers… more suitable to feed one person and not the group of us, quizzically eyeing it), and the room was the tiniest of spaces. It might have been a converted hallway. No water available.. It was all very strange. I think that maybe all of the waterfront hotels are really one, and the other hotel maybe had more need of staff while we were there? Maybe? Even so, the attached restaurant shut down more than half of its seating area (despite there being an hour wait for a table). But still— the room had a lovely view. Just bring your own food.
