We really enjoyed staying at the property. Our room was very nice and clean, the restroom and shower was very clean. We enjoyed walking back to water and setting. The whole experience was so nice.

It’s beautiful! On a bay, beautiful view from the pool. Temp on pool area warm southeast great to swim. The restaurant was great, drinks and bartenders were outstanding, view was great. There was a singer playing in the bar. Lovely.

They thought of everything! Beautiful view. Beautifully appointed rooms. Free bike and kayak rentals, local coffee in the room, great coffee shop in the lobby, delicious restaurant with amazing cocktails. We loved our stay and will be back!!

Rooms have been updated. Our room had a kitchen but no silverware, cookware or dishes. Why provide a stovetop, frig and kitchen but nothing to use with it. Also room on main level on the end was NOT private st all!!! Virw was great though

Our stay at Terrace Bay was nothing short of awesome! We were traveling through the UP to see family in lower Michigan and booked due to the listing information. The room (in the new addition) was exceptional. It was clean with good amenities but not too overboard for a UP hotel. We were able to also eat dinner at the restaurant and I cannot remember when I had a meal that good in a long time. The food was excellent, the dessert was decadent, and the service was beyond exceptional. The only “complaint” (not even a complaint) is that you will spend a bit more then typical for a meal if you are considering other dining options in the UP but it’s 100% worth it. The whole package is a perfect balance of UP hospitality with modern tastes and service. We will be back and we will be recommending it.

Should have got a room on the water side, instead of the parking lot. Room was remodeled, but not clean looking. Faucets were cute, but you could see how dirty they were, as well as the tiny tub was very orange instead of white. Air conditioner dripped on the balcony, which looked like a toxic spill, radiating yellow. Pool and hot tub have great views, but old and unclean looking. Otherwise workers were friendly, bar/restaurant is very nice, and beautiful area!

Property is still under construction. Had to check in at the coffee shop down the street. Had to wait for three young ladies to finish their conversations before being acknowledged. Parking was less than desirable. The beach more resembles a swamp. Rooms in the new facility are very nice and comfortable. Just wish that we had been better informed of all conditions.
