When we asked for extra towels, we were given one small extra towel as there were two in the room already. There was one bath sheet, one smaller towel and two hand towels. The room was clean and check in/check out was fine.

Not a particularly good basic room. No thermostat to control temperature. One input air vent in the ceiling that blew very cold air in long bursts with then no flow for periods between. Room was cold humid as the air coming in was not being properly dried by the aircon system. Room smelt faintly of past cigarette smoking which was enhanced by the humidity level. Would not recommend these basic rooms on the north side. The other larger rooms on the south side are a bit better.

I like cleanliness. New renovated washroom and kitchen. Marble countertops. TV channels all available. Friendly owners (Staff and Manager). If i go again i stay at Borden Inn and Suites.

There is no temperature control in the room. The AC was on full time and the room was freezing in July. No place to hang up clothes. Bed was in a small area with no access from either side. Had to craw into and out of bed from the bottom.

The non-smoking room I booked was smelling of unbearable smoke. Reception told me this is due to HVAC. Then he said I can give you another similar room with additional charges. Finally, after some negotiations he gave another room key which had no smell. Thank God!

It smelled clean, but the blankets were wet, but they were dirty, and had alot of burn holes. there was dirt on the floor.

While the room was clean, there were issues. Towels and bedding didn't look properly washed with old stains on them. The door to the room didn't have any privacy/security secodary lock, only a flip bar. Floor wasn't level, many places you would feel it give way under foot. It's a work in progress.
