This was a terrible hotel primarily because of the front desk person on the night of 3/18 (Saturday). First off, in the description, it was not clear there was limited parking. We arrived at 9 PM and found no parking so when we attempted to ask him where we could park, he misunderstood us and became very rude and combative for no reason. This was a terrible experience - I don't normally leave reviews but this was bad.

Shiny example of German Mittelstand
We have spent just 1 night during our journey coming back from England were we took part in some training. We were very happy to choose this hotel. It was really sharp contrast to average and overpriced English hotels. Members of the family who runs this hotel were very kind and prepared to help (really help and not just talking and doing nothing like Englishmen). The hotel is about 1 km far from nice park through which you can walk/run to the six lakes attraction. Jogging there was very pleasant experience after which we relaxed in the room before dinner. We could manage all due to early check-in starting at noon. Our room was not completely new, but the most essential parts such as bathroom, comfortable beds and flat TV screen were. The tasty breakfast enhanced wonderful price-quality ratio. The only inconvenience was the absence of thicker curtains. The street lighting lit quite strongly whole night into our room. Because we live in a city that did not bother us much but it might be found difficult by someone who is not used to that.

Es ist nicht voll im Stadtzentrum, aber dennoch recht einfach mit ÖV zu erreichen. Von der Stadtbahn U79 "Kulturstrasse" etwa 5 Min. zu Fuss entfernt, vom S-Bahnhof Schlenk rund 10 Minuten. Sauberes, grosszügiges Zimmer, einwandfreies Bad und liebevolles Frühstück. Es gäbe auch noch Pool und Sauna, wurde von mir aber nicht besucht

Freundliches Personal, gute und große Auswahl beim Frühstück, gemütliches Zimmer mit Bad. Leider war der Duschkopf an der Brausestange locker. Ist nicht so prickelnd wenn man beim duschen ist und der Duschkopf kommt einem entgegen.

Der erste Eindruck trügt.
Das Hotel macht zunächst einen nicht so schönen Eindruck, aber die Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit war hervorragend. Das Einzelzimmer war sehr klein. Das Bad war vor nicht allzu langer renoviert worden. Beanstanden möchte ich, dass man ständig auf der Suche nach Personal sein muss, wenn man etwas von ihm will, da der Platz ständig unbesetzt war. Ich kann das Hotel trotzdem guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
