I really enjoyed this property! The location was really central for accessing both the Bear lake entrance and the longs peak trailhead. There are four restaurants within the block the cabins are on (all of which had vegetarian options). The space was small and cozy and was enough off the main road that it was quiet at night. All the amenities I needed were provided and the dogs and I had a great trip! The Este visitor center had a good list of dog friendly hikes so we were able to walk around town on the bike path, get 6ish miles in at the YMCA of the Rockies property and hike Crosier Mountain trail all of which were with 15 minutes of the cabins.

It was off rhe main road, so it was quieter. The bed slept very well in the Bluebird Cottage. We enjoyed sitting out in the screened in porch while we read books. The restaurant across the atreet was great and convenient.

I was looking for a rustic cabin in the mountains. This was reasonably priced so I booked it and overall I’m not extremely disappointed. However, there were a couple issues 1. I checked in a single female. While it was super convenient that the key was sitting in the unlocked lobby for me to pick up at any time, I was nervous about the security of this. My name and cabin were on display for anyone to see (let alone take a key!). 2. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The cabin was rustic, which I was fine with, but I woke up multiple times in the night because my hips hurt. 3. While the property was clear about it being a residential area (and the surrounding views were gorgeous!), I was disappointed at how tightly packed together the cabins were. The main reason this bothered me was because I could not open the curtains to enjoy the view without the cabin next to me being able to glance in. (And again, single female with poor security…this skeeved me out a bit). Overall, the area was pretty and the amenities were adequate. I ended up not showering during my stay because I would have had to duck the entire time.

Great stay! Place was very clean and well kept. Checkin and checkout was very convienient and quick. Excellent location. My only complaint was hot tub was burning hot - too hot to get into. I would totally stay here again.

Loved this little cabin! Perfect for a solo trip or a couple. They make sure you have everything you need. Aaron was super helpful, too! Will definitely stay there again.

Cozy quaint little cottage

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and clean. A free bundle of wood was available for a fire in the fireplace. I received a text letting me know our room was done early and how to check in. The room was clean and cozy. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the bluebird which shared a wall with another unit. Shared walls were described as sound proof, unfortunately that was not accurate. Both mornings the people next door were up at 5am and it sounded as if they were stomping and running through their unit and across the roof. It was terribly loud and lasted from 5am to 8am. They were also smoking on the screened porch which can't into our unit and had a dog that was rather irritating. My understanding was that units were smoke and pet free, but I could have been wrong. Their general lack of respect for those around them was not the fault of the facility, however, the thin walls were not fantastic at 5am. Facilities were overall clean, but dated and we never saw someone that we could have brought our concerns to regarding our weekend neighbors.

Nice cozy cabin with a kitchen. Just right for a family of 3 for the weekend. Only thing was the bathroom is very small.No counter space for toiletries or room to hang towels and clothing.
