Great location you can walk to downtown Estes Park along the river walk. This was a favorite spot for elk so you can see lots of them without driving around. Needs a little refresh and cleaning.

Vintage buildings with updated interiors. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could hear Elk buglling at night. The driveway is a little tricky to find coming from downtown.

The room was as described. The room was clean. Breakfast was good enough for kids. Breakfast ran out quick, I saw some restocking before leaving after someone asked. ( frickin phone). I would recommend staying there,I t would be nice if their parking lot paired with golf course parking so you could use the light.

Just a one night stay.

Location right outside of town. Not walkable to the down town. Had a second floor room, although the parking was at the front door. Nice outside balcony. Small mini-fridge with no freezer. Microwave (we don’t use) coffee maker with hotel pods (didn’t use). Shower and bathroom worked as they should. Bed (King) placed where it only could and that only allowed enough room for one person to stand at the foot of the bed and the other person could not pass by. On site ice machine. We left before the ‘free breakfast’ so we cannot advise to that. It was the first stop on our trip.

A place to stay in Estes Park, Colorado.

My husband & I were happy with our choice to stay at Dicovery Lodge!! Our unit had a view of golf course & pond……but the best part was the nature. There were elk & geese walking on the property! My husband just sat outside on his chair & took pictures.

We stayed in a dome. No frill but adequate. Clean and quiet on a Monday night in late August. Only power outlets are in use for AC and light. Consider bringing a power strip. Insulation and soundproofing are quite good. 4-5 tents (6-7 total) were being used and we shared three full bathrooms. We never had to wait in line for the bathroom. Towels in the dome. Breakfast had waffles, toast, muffins, bagel, yogurt, coffee, fruit cups. You can also rent sand boards at the office. Overall a nice experience. Peppermint the cat was very friendly. I below he’s the real owner of this place ;)

It’s at the end of town with little to nothing open. Very drab. Not sure why that end of town is deteriorated The hotel is ok and was fine for our 1 night stay. Other reviews made it sound quite nice. I was a bit disappointed. The air conditioner was loud and was a wall unit not central air. The bed was worn, but everything was quite clean. The breakfast the next morning was good. The staff were nice.
