I stayed for two nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the town center, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. However, daily room cleaning was not provided during my stay, and the shower’s shampoo and soap dispensers were empty. A few small improvements in housekeeping would make the experience much better.

This property is basically a Motel 6 that had a minor facelift. The owners fancied up the lobby area but they didn’t do much to the rooms, they are small but adequate if you’re spending most of your time outdoors. We had a clogged sink and shower and although the shower was remedied by the front desk clerk by removing the “hair catcher” basket below the drain grate (gross), the sink remained clogged for the entire week. During our stay they appeared short staffed; do not bother calling the front desk, nobody answers. You could hear every footstep and movement from the room above ours; very annoying. Apparently this is known by the property staff as there are complimentary ear plugs next to your bed upon arrival. Despite some property degradation issues, the room was clean and the location is within walking distance to the city center. For a $200/night price point I just expected a little more.

This is a glorified motel room, clean and modern, but lacking in amenities given the price. While there was a mini-fridge and electric kettle, there was no microwave. There were no glasses, only single use paper coffee cups. The bathroom was woefully small, with no shelving and very limited counter space for toiletries. Bring "cubes" for your clothing as there is no drawer space in the room, only shelving. There was bench seating in the room, but no table of any sort (or chairs). The good: Great lighting in the room and in the bathroom and nice pillows if you like a firmer pillow. The bad: Soft bed, paper thin walls, a heating and a/c unit that was impossible to operate/change, a TV set to the wrong date and because of this, lacking the program guide (a nit). At between $200 to almost $500 per night and given its classification as an "Upscale hotel", we expected more.

We tried to check-in at 4:05pm, They said the room wasn’t ready & probably wouldn’t be ready for another 1.5-2 hours. They said they’d call/text us when it was ready (they didn’t). When we finally got in the room, it had a dirty shower with crud on the shower wall and mold on the shower curtain, cobwebs in the window. We immediately asked for a new shower curtain, but they had no spare shower curtains & they said they would get maintenance to address it but they had already left for the day. We finally got a replacement shower curtain on the last night of our 4 night stay, but they just dropped it off. I had to take down the moldy one & put the clean one up myself. The sofa in the room had multiple mystery stains so we never put anything on it or sat on it. Housekeeping was very inconsistent. They made the bed 2 of the days we stayed, left some fresh towels 1 day (but not any wash cloths - they were out), and they took the trash out 1 day. One morning, they had coffee out in the lobby, but I had to go to the other location down the street for the “complimentary grab & go breakfast”. It was just yogurt & muffins, so don’t bother with that if you do have the misfortune to stay here. We also heard them tell another group of guests they were running low on room keys & several of the rooms have broken AC with the temporary window units visible in the windows. A lot of noise from other rooms & the road. I would absolutely discourage anyone from staying here.
