Breakfast was really good. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Water was extremely hot, which is nice for adults but if you have children as they could get burned easily at this water temperature. My one criticism was that we ended up staying in one of the older buildings and it had no elevator like the main, nicer hotel building. This really bothered my arthritic knees. If knee pain is an issue make sure to book in the main building which is newer, nicer and has an elevator. That section was full so they could not switch us. Plan ahead.

Overall, Hayward Inn was very clean and nicely kept. The staff was friendly. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent. It is a great location for university of Oregon events many you can walk to. I would stay there again on my next trip back to Eugene

The Hayward had everything we needed. The rooms had fantastic air conditioning. The breakfast choices were varied and great. The staff was always helpful. This will definitely be our hotel of choice when we come back.
