Avoid staying here at all costs

It was a 90+ degree day when we stayed. We checked in late, around 11 pm maybe, due to the area and type of people that frequent the area the lobby was closed. Checking in was difficult because we had to speak to the employee theough an intercom and you could barely understand him. Then we get to the room, open the door and are blasted by a wall of hot air. The a/c was broken. We asked to switch roomsand there were none available. The front desk employee said the best they could do was to maybe find us a fan. I used the bathroom and tried to shut the door but the part that latches was missing. It was so hot and miserable we ended up leaving and staying at the newly remodeled super 8 just down the road which was a night and day experience.

Worst stay of my life!!!

Check in was supposed to be at 3:00pm. We did not get in to our room until 7:00pm. We were told and I quote “I don’t know what to tell ya, we don’t have anything ready for you.” There was a guy next door to us that was outside all night with his phone blasting music and he cut his hand so bad there was blood dripping everywhere the police and paramedics had to come at 2:00am. The next day we went to leave our room only to find blood everywhere in front of our room and a trail going to his room, and blood all over the trash cans.the same guy was standing around outside our room with his pants down passed his knees for so long we had to wait to leave so my 13 year old daughter didn’t see anything that would scar her. There was never less than 10 people standing around in the parking lot.there was a lot of drug activity coming and going from multiple rooms. The staff them selfs appeared to be under the influence of something. Multiple people where working on there cars in the parking lot with the staff hanging out with them. I honestly thought I was being pranked. This was my worst experience ever for my family and I. We will not be back!

We stayed at this location since our track team was staying here for the NiKe Outdoor Nationals. I would not stay at this property again unless absolutely necessary. My sheets were tattered, the shower was set up like that of an RV really small. I slept under my own blanket to avoid the sheet touching me. Hotel staff was friendly and accessible.

It was clean. At night it was surprisingly quiet, considering Motel 6 allows dogs. I had requested a ground floor, (which I did get), handicap accessible room. The biggest issue for me: no railing next to the toilet. And, the bed was awful - super hard.

We were told the room had A/C and it did, but it worked very poorly and it was extremely hot in the room. There were also people right beside the property shooting off fireworks in a parking lot and our dogs were scared to death so we had to keep the window closed which made it even more hot in the room.

Room is not up to par with other motel 6. The room smells like mildew. The ac doesn’t work well. Very humid in the room. Room is tiny. The door doesn’t close all the way and you can see the gap around the door. Very noisy hotel. People sitting outside and wandering and partying. Does not feel safe for a family.
