Apparently it was comfortable, I was exhausted and slept 10 hours! The young woman who checked me in was very kind and friendly. I walked downtown for dinner, which I picked up at Mad Macs which was amazing! And again for Voodoo Donuts in the morning. When I arrived by my GPS direction, I arrived at the back. I almost didn’t go in. But got around front and saw the check in and rooms and was good. Be aware of that;) I will stay here again for sure! One other note: it was a bit noisy early in the evening. I do sleep with ear plugs so I can’t say for sure that it did or did not continue to be. But I don’t think so.

The room was clean and provided me with a very comfortable rest. I wished I could take home the bedding, it was so crisp and clean. The lobby was really stylish and cute. I especially enjoyed sitting by the fireplace on my cold rainy arrival. Staff was exceptional! Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The morning breakfast was probably the best I'd ever had at a small boutique Inn. There was something for everyone. Eggs,bacon,sausage,potatoes,cereal,waffles,bananas,oranges,apples,toast,pastries, juices,oatmeal,coffee,tea and I may have missed something. Being right on Pearl Street and only two floors it"s a bit noisy from traffic sounds. But was still well worth the stay.

The staff was very friendly, but the breakfast was wonderful. The usual things were on the buffet but all items were fresh and good. The almond pastry was to die for. The scrambled eggs were moist and delicious and the bacon was tasty too. And well cooked oatmeal with all kinds of things to add to it, such as nuts, and craisins. We loved everything and so did our granddaughters. Also standouts were the lovely flowers and plantings and hanging baskets. Much effort has gone into making tnis a quality place to stay in a very convenient location.
