absolutely AWFUL - DO NOT STAY HERE! booked at 9:15pm then drive to get food got a call within minutes by apparent owner woman - asking me the same questions i just answered on reservation & she asked when would i be checking in? i said - as soon as we pick up food & are back we get back - no one is at front desk ring doorbell system to get in lobby - then there is a virtual check in where you talk to someone who knows where it was VERY low tech the man kept saying he did not have my ID to scan even though i put it in machine 3X he kept saying “do you want me to cancel your reservation?” i kept saying “no - i just made it!” next think that happens - the same woman who called me comes out from her lair & loudly says “what is going on?!” i said “that’s it - im done - i AM NOT STAYING HERE” i left - called expedia - they called hotel - and i got a full refund BUYER BEWARE OF THIS WICKED WOMAN & HER UNSCRUPULOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES have NEVER out of all the hotels i’ve stayed at had someone call me to ask same exact questions in reservation - then not be there at desk to check me in - then leave me to figure out virtual mickey mouse check in process from nepal - then come out & be extremely rude to the guests paying to stay at her hotel!!!

Room was bigger than expected, super clean and everything was in working order. Property was right on the beach next to a small harbor, you could literally walk from your room to a beach cove in 2 minutes. Also very close to the South road that goes up to the Redwood groves for hiking. Only complaint was the breakfast was not really breakfast. Just some granola bars and apples.

The room was clean and the bed was okay. I would say that it was a good value for what we paid and decent when compared to the other places in the area. Breakfast was pretty sparse so we ate at Sea Front Baking Company which was really good and I highly recommed.

Electronic check-in kiosk and nobody at the desk was a surprise forcing guests to perform unsafe operations like scanning ID and electronic signing with identity theft being one of the most common threats. Closest beach serves mostly as dog toilet. Lacks facilities. Ocean views are nice but unfortunately good bay type of panoramic view window in the room got nonsensical drapes treatment that blocks half of that view. Impossible to understand. No hot breakfast, just granola bars, and cupcakes. Zero proteins. There were good apples.

Everything was great for the value. The only issue I noticed was when people are showering in other rooms close by, there is a loud noise in the pipes that sounds like drilling, which is disruptive when people shower early in the morning. Not sure if that happens in every room or if it was just in my room that I could hear that noise.

The room was so modern- vinyl tile on the floor, beautiful furnishings, right by a great fish house. Absolutely spotless!! Please stay here if you’re visiting Redwoods National Park area.
