I don't typically give a review but thought this one was important enough to do so. When we checked in there was nobody available, then a young man in his late teens or early 20's came and checked us in. It seems it is being taken care of by extremely young group of people. They were friendly. There was a young child riding a bike in the halls and the lobby. It felt very hectic! The food was good. It wasn't very clean and the pillows were square couch pillows. I had to ask for normal pillows. Around 10PM I heard a loud cracking sound that continued for about an hour. I was uncomfortable to open the door to check it out but finally did and found a couple of young men playing pool. I told them I was sorry but each time they hit the ball it echoed throughout the hotel and sounded like a fire cracker They apologized and stopped. I personally would not stay here again.

The hotel was nice. The view was very nice. The restaurant looked nice but we could never get in. my biggest complaint about the hotel was The two young men at the front desk. They were doing their job, but they stopped very frequently and just talked among themselves when they should have been paying more attention to the customers and it happened more than once. Not even a word of i'll be with you in a moment, nothing. Act like you care about your job.

Loved that the rooms were pet friendly and had an ocean view. It was great to have a restaurant within the hotel and the food was good. However, there was no real area to walk the dog for potty purposes. Although the grounds around the hotel were roughly mown, it was full of holes from ground squirrels or something. There was no place to deposit dog waste bags.

Our stay started our rocky we arrived at 4pm with a 3 pm check in time, we go to the room and housekeeper was still cleaning, we had ro wait 1.5 hours.the room was outdated and loud, stairways were dirty and had a horrible ordor For almost 400$ a night we were expecting a more updated room/ hotel It does have a good view and the restaurant was good. Don’t bother-horrible

We flew into Portland and drove over six hours to relax, expecting the ocean view room that we booked. There was no ocean view room when we arrived. We got a regular room which was old, filthy and decrepit. No blankets on the bed. A very thin comforter and cheap sheets that cling to you as you sleep. The shower leaked, no tissue in the bathroom. Overall it was old and dirty, unkempt. The front desk staff were fine, but we felt like an imposition. Never saw another staff person for the two days we stayed. There was a bit of revitalization going on in the town (not the hotel). It probably was a cute seaside town at one time, but not any longer. I would find a much nicer place to stay in a nearby town. There’s a casino/hotel about 15 minutes away. Stay there. It’s beautiful, clean, and has excellent food!

We stayed early June. This was my second time. We got an Ocean Front room and it had an odd odor. Plus we got the ADA accesible room which we didn’t need. The price was very high relative to the 1st time i stayed. They don’t offer breakfast or really anything and their parking lot is regularly transited by vagrants with no apparent attempts to deter them. Literally had a little vagrant camp behind the hotel. Didn’t feel worth $300/night.
