Lovely room and bathroom, lots of light. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The only real issue we had was that the hot water took a while to get hot, but it was just a small problem.

Our stay was a disaster. We went to Eureka, Ca for a Jazz convention. We missed most of the first day trying to get a different room. Our room had no hot water and the sinks backed-up with brown ugly water. We notified the desk clerk at 8:00 am, he said we will have a room by noon. When we returned at 1:00 pm, a new desk clerk, did not know anything about our room problems. He said he would call us in a hour. He never did call us. We went back down and talked to another desk clerk. He name was Connie. She was finally helpful and got us a room quickly. She was good, but we did not get into our new room until 3:30 pm. We missed a whole day at the event. I plan on sending a strongly worded to Red Lion.

Property has a unusable entrance right next to our room. Was an exit only. You could park outside the room but had to walk all the way to the office to eat the building. Very inconvenient. Pillows were wierd and small sized. Staff was very friendly, but we're understaffed and we're unable to provide extra pillow delivery to the room. I had to go to the desk to retrieve them

Hot water didn’t work and the young employee running the front office didn’t seem to care at all and while talking to him he was glued to his cell phone. Asked where breakfast was and he gave us a dumbfounded look while scrolling social media and just pointed his finger in a direction and went back to scrolling. Such a shame some of this younger generation kids were never taught manners or people skills.

It was a quick drop in late in the evening we got to town. The lady was very nice checking us in. I have my service dog with me and she put us in a room on the first floor. It look a little worn but it was perfectly clean and in good condition. The man working in the morning was very nice as well. Complimentary breakfast was delicious.

Elevators not working correctly, reported, not repaired. Breakfast menu, but no waitstaff (service to start @ 7:00 AM, didn't). Who knows, maybe no kitchen staff either. A very, very disappointing stay.
