The original room we got was horrible. It felt like a dark dingy old dungeon. The heater didn’t work. There were no end table next to the bed only a tv tray on my side. The bathroom was freezing cold. I kept complaining and finally they moved us to another room. It was much better. The heater worked fine snd the room was light and the bathroom was clean and more modern. I would not stay here again though for the high price of the room. No complementary water either.

Overall Experience
My husband and I had a really great time, but there would’ve been some things that would’ve helped the experience. The games in the game room were incomplete. that was a great idea and we did enjoy playing dominoes which was the only game that was complete. Many of the staff Were not very customer service oriented. Those that were however were fabulous. Consistency would’ve been nice.

Electric in our bedroom kept coming on and off for the 3 nights we were there. Thanksgiving night i had to call. Remote in bedroom was missing looked under bed and trash was everywhere. Trash behind the end tables. Only 1 ice machine and it was broke. I never give a bed review cuz i know stuff happens but for $700. I think it should have been better. But workers in lobby was nice, bar was nice and the Thanksgiving dinner was good

Property has a lot of history that is explained in the tour of the hotel...the staff ( minus the bartenders) were above and beyond customer service! Not a problem to find another close place to drink, with bartenders that have good customer service.
