Nothing spectacular

Was surprised to find there is a medical marijuana dispensary in the lobby. Otherwise was on par with what i expected. It is an older place, in the condition you would expect for that. Mostly clean, was fine for somewhere to just sleep and get back on the road.

We liked that it was right in the middle of it all, easy to get to places. It had good parking right at our door. However, room had a bad smell to it. It’s quite outdated. Linens seem old, like they have no softness to them and worn out. Furniture looks old. Carpet seems dirty. Mattress was uncomfortable. Worst part was the door was not sealed and all the cold air was getting in the room we had to turn on heater. The night we got in we noticed no soaps, shampoo, bath soap but we’re too tired to go ask. In the morning I went to front desk and she just gives me one set but they were so small. It was three of us taking showers! I asked her for more but she only gave me 1 more. I used the whole thing and needed second bottle to wash hair. Overall unhappy with that experience. Won’t use this location again.

The phone in the room did not work, so when we had issues, we gad to drive up to the office. The toilet was broken and maintenance was off so we had to take the lid off and move the flapper so the toilet would fill, in order to flush.

The staff was uninformed and uncooperative when I informed them about the invoice error. Multiple attempts to correct this were dismissed by the staff. The billing error was over $370.00 and still I received no help. It was necessary to correct the large error after we returned home. Common sense is lacking at the front desk.

The front desk ladies were super friendly and helpful. The door on our first room was broken and they immediately sent the maintenance guy to look at it. Turns out the handle needed replaced so we were switched to another room. The area was very clean and quiet. It’s close to the historic district which was awesome. The pool was closed but we expected that since it’s off season. The hot tub was nice and enclosed so it felt secluded. We will stay here again for sure.
