Didn’t get what we paid for

We thought we booked a room with 2 queen beds. It turned out to be 1 queen bed, which doesn’t work well for three people. My husband ended up sleeping on the very short loveseat. The motel is dated.

Stayed 4 nights with 2 small dogs. Paid $20 per day cleaning fee. Opted to forgo daily cleaning because of the dogs. However, the floors were dirty, especially under the beds. I dropped my phone under the bed and was shocked to feel how dirty it was. One positive, the room was big with 2 king beds, unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable! Would not stay there again.

Heading Eastward

Love that it’s all one story buildings. Very quiet and in a good location. Restaurant onsite, did not use though. Could be a bit cleaner, however we are in a pet room so some issues are to be expected. Bed comfortable. Very spacious rooms but bathroom a bit small. Overall would stay again for price and low pet fee.

The room was a bit run down. The air conditioner and heater were old, the room had lots of scratches and scuffs everywhere, and the overall condition of the room was pretty rough. While it was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was better than most, that was about it. I wouldn’t recommend, especially for the price.

We left 3 hrs after checking in. Service and lobby looked fine. 100 yr old motel units they don’t show pics of, not so good. Husbands pet allergies started in right away and then we see tons of wild cats and people that looked like they were staying right outside and behind our unit.

You get what you pay for

Everything about this day was average. You get what you pay for. You can tell that it's an older establishment and if we were here in the summer, we probably still wouldn't use the pool as it's right by the driveway that pulls up to the lobby. There is a wall air conditioner, a wall heater, dial, and an air conditioner dial on another wall. Because it was still early spring, they wouldn't turn on the regular air conditioning so we had to use the wall unit. I was sweaty the first night and when asked if they could turn on the regular air conditioning they said that they hadn't done it for the season because it was likely to be snowy still even though it was pretty warm the day before. The ice machine didn't work. There are no windows so no flow of air. On the good side, everybody working there was absolutely wonderful. They truly were kind and wanted to help but recognized that the facility is older and there wasn't really much they could do about our comfort. The people in the restaurant were equally kind and attentive and enjoyable to talk to. There was plenty of parking and it was nice and quiet.

Don't be scared by the look.

The hotel is older but completely refurbished. All the rooms are on the ground floor. It is a sprawling place. We ate at the restaurant and it was quite good.
