While this guesthouse was well located near the main square of the Old Town and very close to good restaurants, our satisfaction was marred by a poor mattress and a broken toilet. For the price, not the best value.

Making the most of a bad situation
Our room had a sewage problem and wasn't available at checkin so the hotel offered us a smaller room at another property of theirs. Beds weren't very comfortable but staff really tried to make our stay enjoyable, even finding a bottle opener and wine glasses. Can't blame them for the broken pipes.

Great location to explore the town. Noisy tourists out on the street all night but not hotel’s fault. Easy and helpful check in.

Large family room
We stayed in the family quadruple room. The room is bright & airy & the beds are comfortable. The hotel is located in the center without parking but there is on street parking nearby. Joao on the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful, pointing out places to see, eat etc. There is a coffee machine, bottled water, fruit etc that guests can help themselves too with no charge in reception. Overall we enjoyed our stay & will happily stay here again if in the area.
