It does the job

Breakfast ok, nothing special, but stops after 0930. Was late back from a local concert so 10am would be better on a weekday. Parking leaps from 8 hours to 24 hours so most people forced to take 24 hours even if the booking is 3pm to 11am next day. Took one of last 2 parking spaces when late back from concert.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Great stay as usual here. We use this as a stop off point on our way to Cornwall. Great location, plenty of parking, breakfast included. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an upgrade but they are clean and the other factors make up up for this.

Limited food choices for dinner.

We had a evening meal, it was very quiet, however, our meal was terrible, the pie was rock hard, the chips looked ok but were also rock hard, I only ate the peas, and a very little bit of the beef inside the pie, my husband ate all of his because he was very hungry, and he agreed it was not good. I did tell staff member Ben he apologised and he refunded my meal. I only hoped breakfast was going to be better, it was thankfully.

Convenient location to park and ride and restaurants. Friendly welcoming staff. Room needs a freshen up in look but was clean. Nice dove shampoo and soap. There was only two tea bags and no spoon or stirring stick on arrival but can pick up extras from front desk.

First time using a Holiday Inn Express. Room, facilties all adequate. No toilet brush in our room, but maybe these are stolen so not provided. Breakfast was chaotic, but to be expected as hotel at max capacity. Staff clearing tables and topping up buffet constantly. Sad to see so much food wastage from customers, greedy and inconsiderate for a minority.
