Lovely inn, very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Ensuite was a little too cosy for our liking, but that was due to it being in the roof and limited space. Cooked breakfast was delicious. Would have been enhanced with a little fresh fruit available.

An excellent comfortable stay

We stayed for one night on our way to the ferry in Plymouth. Our room was very comfortable. Communication after booking was excellent. The inn has a good menu served in the bar. Excellent value. All our food including breakfast was well cooked and tasty. I would return without hesitation. Highly recommended

Great value for money.

We absolutely loved our stay! The pub was full of locals, guiness on tap, great atmosphere! We had an evening meal and full English breakfast, food was 5****. Really good quality meat! Bed was comfy, room was clean, tea and coffee in the room. Will definitely stay again! Thank you!!

A hidden gem

This is a hidden gem. The staff were friendly, kind & helpful. My room was lovely with a nice bathroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food was really good quality and excellent value. I was a bit anxious as there is no on site parking but there was on street parking and a free car park for the village nearby. Amenities in the village were a Spar mini market and post office. I would definitely stay again.

Superb Overnight Stay

Very cosy and very clean room. Had a wonderful evening meal, a very good night's sleep and a fantastic breakfast before the long journey home. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, providing a great service. Would definitely recommend and definitely return if in the area again. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Lovely Inn and B&B

Lovely B&B / Inn with lots of character. Room was nice but a bit on a small side, but this was fine as I was travelling alone for work. Breakfast and dinner was very nice, just be aware breakfast is only between 8-10am. Staff were all very friendly and the pub had a nice local atmosphere in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.
