The hotel was recently renovated, clean and the staff was excellent. Jim at the front desk was friendly and gave us great suggestions for nearby restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.
Downside- I was expecting more for breakfast. It was indeed continental- cereal, bagels, pastries, boiled eggs. Nothing hot but coffee and tea. But if you’re not staying for breakfast or eating it, that won’t bother you. Ours was a three night stay.
Also a small pet peeve for me was that they pumped some sort of scent into their hallways, which was very strong. Also the hotel is on a busy corner, and located right by the fire station and ambulance services, so it gets a bit noisy during the day. If you’re a light sleeper the noise might bother you from the traffic. The fire and first aid services were not heard during the night.
Overall, I would probably stay there again. If I were ever to be in that area again.
