I’m responding for my husband who was the one who stayed at Golden North, but I booked him there. He found the place clean and comfortable, but not extraordinary. Then again, the price was below other hotels and Airbnbs, the location was perfect for his needs, and all in all, including a light breakfast, made it great value for the price.

I booked the Inn as it was near the airport for ease though it is in the flight path of Fairbanks airport. Although named an Inn, it is akin to a regular motel. My room was basic but clean, however you could hear neighbours walking around and even when getting out of bed, my floorboards creaked. The breakfast and staff were the highlights for me: there was a good choice of cold items for breakfast plus hot drinks were in reception in office hours. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
