This property was outstanding in every way. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff members throughout our stay were kind, attentive, efficient and professional. The shuttle service picked us up at the airport and then also delivered us to the train station at the appointed time. There is much to do and see on site. This lodge has so much more character than your run-of-the-mill name-brand hotel. We would highly recommend this property.

Not greeted quite the same as booking directly and even though the stay requirements were met did not qualify for the perks of direct booking. Did not receive the same direction as those checking in shortly after. Shame as this made a total of a weeks stay for this trip alone, will consider other places next trip more seriously as this was our first preference for Fairbanks this trip based on past stays.

We were interested in staying another night but the amount that they were asking was pretty expensive. We decided not to stay an extra night. Parking was a challenge at the hotel and it would have been nice to have available parking closer to our room.

Great rustic place to stay in Fairbanks!

We stayed in one of the aurora cabins. It was nice and cozy. It’s not luxury with modern amenities. If that’s what you’re looking for then you probably shouldn’t go to Fairbanks. It was nice and rustic, and we loved it! It was a true log cabin experience. We loved the free shuttle to and from the airport that they provided! And, they had a complimentary breakfast which was great! Staff were fantastic! Would stay here again!

Old Lodge with nice amenities. Didn’t have the shuttle running into town which was our only glitch. Nice setting on the river with fire pits. Really enjoyed our stay.
