Nice and close to Fairlie township. Walkable to restaurants, coffee and, of course, the pies. Little bit of road noise (it’s approx 40m from main road to Tekapo). Very nice arriving after hours with keys in the door and unit warmed up by a heater😀 Just all too easy!

I only gave 4 stars for staff because I didn’t see anyone. The system seems to be a contactless checkin/checkout but it worked. The property was clean and had everything I needed plus little extras. Only stopped by as a break in a long journey but it was a very nice stay.

All very clean, spacious and comfortable. It was also a kind thought to put an electric heater on and to find a small milk in the fridge.

My fault I never realised Fairlee was so far away from Tekapo. good half an hr drive. Old style motel from the 1970's. Comfy and close to public road.

This motel suited my needs well. After hiking at Mt Cook I needed a quiet place to get a good sleep and I found it here. The small town is full of friendly folk as well.

A great place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Unfortunately the fridge wasnt as cold as needed and the freezer pads didn't freeze overnight.

I was really impressed with the attention to detail. The room was beautifully presented and Erin (the owner) has obviously poured a lot of love into this place. Bravo. I stayed at the motel as a convenient/cost effective alternative to higher price Lake Tekapo accom and was pleased with my choice. Would stay again when visiting Tekapo.

Great retro motel, clean as a whistle, good sized room, parking at door. Our key was in the door on arrival. Five minutes walk into town. Dinning options are very basic on a Monday night. We would have been better off cooking in the units kitchen. Overall a great night.

Dated unit, sadly internet didn't work. Couldn't get TV channels to work and don't have netflix. Couldnt read a book as main light in lounge area wasnt working. Very bad water pressure. We wouldnt recommend or go back

Great stopover location!

Clean and convenient place to stay with all the amenities. Couldn't be happier with the place. Also...easiest check in and check out ever! Found the key in the door and left the key in the door. Doesn't get easier than that!
