On January 11, I left a 2 star constructive review of issues I encountered in the previous 2 stays at this property. This follows numerous stays here and an earlier positive review. My constructive review was answered by management with the phrases “ Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We truly appreciate your loyalty over the past few years and are glad to hear you've consistently valued our location, cleanliness, and laundry facilities. However, we're sincerely sorry to learn about the issues you experienced during your stay” And “We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide the reliable, comfortable experience you've come to expect from us. I tried to check in on February 3rd, was denied when I was told that I was on the do not rent list. When I asked why, they couldn’t tell why. My attempt the next day, after 10 AM took three calls and 11 hit zero to reach operator attempts before the phone was picked up by Neil the GM When I asked why I was on the do not rent list. It took him a while to respond because of as he put it there are many on the do not rent list, however, his reason for putting me on that list was because of my constructive review. He couldn’t refute any of the issues I raised, however, he said that negative reviews hurt business and that’s why I am on the list. He further had the audacity to hang up on me in bed sentence so the call was professional.

This hotel is a perfect location for convenience and has been a go to for the past couple of years. Holiday Inn express locations are a fine option because of price, cleanliness and quality of breakfast. I stayed at this property, in two separate stays, Six days in the past two weeks. And frankly, the quality of this location has diminished. In my last two stays, I was coincidentally put in the same room. In both stays, the room was immaculately, clean, and the guest laundry was accessible, handy, and well maintained. Check in was relatively simple, but the front desk staff showed for lack of a better way of saying it friendliness. The room phone did not work and was reported two times on the first stay. On the second stay,it still did not work. The toilet clogged each day, and while maintenance was called twice, it clogged immediately after repair. Shower also drained so slowly that it would cause water runoff in the bathroom and also after the draining, left hair and other items from what I assume is past occupants. The breakfast on two of the six days was fine, but on four of the six days it was eggs, visibly burnt, orange juice, empty, and very minimalized selection. A number of other guests, came in, looked at the selection and walked out. The other oddity of this hotel is that the front desk is generally unmanned. There is a bell to ring to get front desk assistance, yet ringing it generally proved fruitless as does calling in.

Express generally has an above average breakfast experience. This location actually has a superior breakfast experience. Great assortment of items, well prepared, and the attendant has the location immaculately clean.
