Second time to Falmouth and first time to Inn OnThe Square and I am very happy with the choice to stay there. This is definitely where I will stay when we come back! Staff was very friendly, the property was very pretty with that nostalgic cape cod charm.

We were a group of 4 and upgraded to King suite for the night. The sofa bed wasn’t made. It was dirty with food particles on it. There was not sufficient linen to make the bed ourselves and not enough towels as well for the 4 of us. Had to request more linen and make the bed ourselves.

Overall, a pretty good place but very strange that it proved impossible to get glasses to have a drink. Its difficult to appreciate good wine when drunk from a paper or foam cup. Also, despite having a microwave in the room., there was no cutlery or crockery to make use of it And the shower tap is very complex

I stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to the MV Ferry and the cost. We got to the hotel around 6pm and left 7am so we were looking to keep this cheep. The place was clean and the staff was nice. I rate this property high based on what I paid, it was a pleasant surprise.

Sarah & all front desk staff were excellent, providing great suggestions for local venues. Property location is walking distance to downtown & bike path. The garden patio, fire pit & outdoor seating area is very nice.

I would not stay at property again. Staff were unpleasant and unprofessional. Several people checking in had problems with staff and had to wait a long time to get a room. A bed was put in my room which made the room unsafe to stay because the bed blocked the door. We had to climb over the person sleeping in the bed to go to the bathroom. The worse stay I have ever had in forty years of staying in hotels. I was assured and reassured that the extra bed would fit comfortably in the room. When I called several days ahead to request an extra bed I was told that it was not a problem. If I had known the true set up I would have stayed elsewhere. The staff and the morning manager were not helpful. The manager was incompetent and sarcastic. This was a terrible stay for my three grandchildren. Never again, I should have stayed at the nearby Palmer Inn.

Think twice before booking!

The following review of this hotel is my opinion only. For what we paid, we were expecting a better stay. We were totally disgusted at how filthy our room was. Cobwebs in the corner of the walls, the carpet had not been vacuumed, there was hair in the bathroom sink, the floor of the fiberglass tub was brown with dirt that had never been scrubbed away along with soap residue on the walls, and the metal drain plug was sitting on the floor. Thank God we only stayed one night. We wouldn’t even shower there and checked out at 5:00 a.m. The room was tiny and super loud due to its location on the main road. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE! This hotel was nothing like it was portrayed in the description or photo. Our check-in was fine, There was one person at the front desk who had only been there for a month as the manager or whoever had to take care of a leak somewhere and left him alone to deal with everyone checking in. He did a great job. The people in front of us, however checked in and their room wasn’t even ready for them at check-in time. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

The staff was very nice and cared about your stay. The hotel is on a main route which made it convenient to get to. It was walkable to the village and wonderful restaurants. The building is older and not very quiet. Overall, we would stay again.
