This place is hands down one of the best vacation spots I've ever been to. Great entertainment crew something for all ages, 5 pools 2 only adult pools, 4 restaurants that you need to make reservations (just download the app) it's so easy one buffet with breakfast lunch and dinner if you like variety, and room service came 3 times a day. 5 stars definitely would come back again and again and again......wonderful!!!!!!!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. The workers were so very nice and helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the kids were right there with the adults. I just stay at another property in the DR and the kids are only in one area.

I had a great experience until I unfortunately interacted with a staff member by the name of Brittany G. She single handly ruined my vacation with her unprofessionalism, which will cost Riu my future business. She decided to ignore and deny my child and me service during our stay two days in a row at the Sport Bar. I did not pay thousands of dollars to be disrespected and dehumanized while on vacation. She failed to provide adequate service and food that was supposedly included in my purchase price. Honestly, I believe that I am owed a refund since obviously services were not rendered as agreed. I have sent several emails to the business concerning this matter and all of my correspondences have been ignored as well. I guess they stand behind her.

Very nice property few rocks in the water so take water shoes. Staff was excellent, food and restaurants were good and the young ppl doing entertainment are awesome. Needed more or larger elevators. Room was beautiful and so was the view. Didnt like the roof as part of my room but was happy so didn't complain.

1) the hotel credit $654 is just a joke. They put it into 60 smal coupons that you have to use at the mall outside of the resort. Each coupon required to spend double or trip spend to be able to use the couple so it’s not worth it. The hotel is not in the hotel zone so if you want to go to the mall it cost $60 taxi or 140 for outside taxi to go to Mongtegobay down town. 2) less active. Only table pool pay $2 for each game. Ping pong next to the swimming pool it’s hard to pay during the hot weather and around 5pm a lot of mosquito around. We used our mosquitoes spray but it doesn’t help. 3) The steak house and lobster doesn’t have lobster and it’s no air conditioner. Very very hot while you are waiting for food. 4) Assian Tokyo rests Has no sushi but Thai’s food which is all spicy , kids can’t eat. 5) Less tropical fruit 6) App doesn’t work so you have to go to the front desk to book for the restaurant 7) less light less activities in the resort. Kids has not thi my to play. 8) water slide has a bump that kid will get hurt. Tour are just a joke . Rip off your money Capuchino won’t open until 10 am . 9) Resort around 8 or 9pm so boring. 10) we booked for double room. Paid for ocean view and we got partial ocean view . It’s only in the corner and can’t view much. 11) bedbug and mosquitos everywhere 12) my family paid less then 2k but they got stay 8 days and upgraded to ocean view . We paid 2k more than them but got less view and less days. Never come back

I like almost everything I can tell that the resort is very safe but the way people talk it seems like it’s unsafe to do activities by myself for example I went to Aruba last year I didn’t have to have transportation exactly from the resort. My husband and I took a bus to go to the downtown of Aruba cause it’s very safe there.

I love the professionalism and hospitality of all the staffs. The foods options we had. The buffet was topnotch. The staffs, the foods choices at the buffet were great. The spa staffs were amazing. The entertainment every evening was great. I stayed in the hotel the entire time. As we pretty much had everything we needed at the hotel. The only bad thing is even though the cleaning staffs cleaned the room every day, and they did a good job. But we had some giant crickets and small millipedes in our room, I am not sure, how they get there. That was pretty scary. Besides that, everything was great. I look forward to staying at RIU Palace Aquarelle again, when I come back, in Jamaica again, God willing.
