RIU Aquarelle was an amazing birthday trip. The food was Delicious everyday. The entertainment was a 10. The pools, grounds everything was clean and super fun.

Overall the rooms were spacious and view was amazing. The restaurants were similar to buffet food and not accommodating for kids menu. There were not many vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. The cafe and snack area had a limited menu and no vegetarian options except nachos.

We enjoyed staying at the Riu Palace. The staff made our stay phenomenal! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and pleasant at every turn. The food was great minus the jerk chicken. We’ve stayed at other Riu’s in other countries and have had a lot of jerk chicken in our lifetime and the chicken at Pepe’s and the buffet were not very good. Everything else was fantastic, especially the curry goat, curry chicken, curry lamb, oxtail, saltfish and ackee. In terms of the property, for a fairly new property it seemed like the rooms needed updating. The room initially was not clean at all with hair from previous guests in the bed, blankets, and shower. The shower was also full of mildew and hair. Other than the room, the property was very clean. We took full advantage of the steam room, beautiful beaches, and lovely pools. The pool staff and bartenders were fun and entertaining. Overall, we had a very good stay.

Beautiful property. The entertainment staff wad amazing all day. Special shoutout to Lloyd of the entertainment staff just a great guy. Customer service was excellent another shoutout to Jeffery who helped me with my bags and was very helpful. No complaints.

The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly. The meal selections at buffet were good however being in Jamaica it would've been nice to see more jamaican food. Although stew peas one night was a very nice surprise.
