Overall our experience was good. It was not 5-star but it was a place to lie our heads and sleep comfortably and safely. The initial room we were placed in did not have running water in the sink, the bathroom light was flickering (good thing we don't have seizures), the bed platform was way too big for the mattresses and the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. I told the front desk where we met a maintenance guy who went to check things out immediately. The gal at the front desk also changed our room. Both were very apologetic and accommodating. The new room was better. We did notice a couple stains on the carpet but it was really no big deal to us as we were traveling with a dog, assumed another pet had been there previously, and we live the pet/dog life. IYKYK. The room was clean and spacious, and we really enjoyed the convenient access to the dog area/courtyard (pet rooms have their own back door to this area). The breakfast was delicious, however, we were only able to eat one morning (Sat) because they ran out of food (biscuits for biscuits and gravy and waffle mix) by 8:20am the second morning (Sun). The decor around the hotel is old but it appears they are in the process of maybe updating things or maybe just fixing things. Either way, it was nothing to deter us from staying there. The hot tub was the perfect temp (not sickening hot) and the pool area was never overcrowded during our stay. The online check in and out was super convenient. We would recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel specifically with wanting to use the gym, however once we arrived, we learned that they were under construction and the gym was closed. They put us in one of the “new” rooms - which had been recently updated however, it was clear that it was rushed and/or done by someone who had no clue what they were doing - some of the furniture wasn’t assembled correctly & was leaning &/or had gaps where there shouldn’t have been any, the beautiful shower fixture was missing a vital part, so that when we turned it on, the water came where the hose should’ve been & ran over the edge of the tub, soaking the bathroom floor and the bathtub took HOURS to drain and the bathroom fan didn’t work at all. The new beds were comfortable - but I imagine almost anything would’ve been after driving for 15 hours. I mentioned all of this at the front desk, but they just laughed it off… Attached pics are the tub approx 1 hour after showing…(don’t mind the purple shampoo rinse) - the 2nd pic is the missing hose for the shower fixture running over the tub edge to the floor (the tub faucet is at the far end)

Better late then never I had a great stay there are some renovations ongoing or needed, but overall bad shower clean and staff were nice. The only thing breakfast was not so great needs better lighting and a better selection of food but also if you make somebody just for food, when it’s breakfast less stress on staff but all the staff was very nice

We were disapointed to find out the hot tub was closed, than when we tried to sleep, the bed was way to hard and uncomforable, the pillows werent very soft either. Breakfast was good we appreciated that.
