The carpet in our room was dirty and not vacuumed. I asked the front desk to have the carpet vacuumed but that did not happen. The towels were dirty. The bathtub was clogged. We will not be returning.

The door to my room required force to open. I got inside and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. I was looking for more cockroaches and discovered the window (first floor, facing the parking lot) had a faulty lock that wouldn't work, so I turned around and left immediately. I can handle some chipped paint, rusty plumbing and whatever cosmetic stuff, but hair in the sink and cockroaches and unsecured ground-level windows are too much for me.

Our experience at the Brentwood Inn & Garden was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The front desk staff was very friendly and extremely efficient, which was important after traveling all day. We checked into our rooms, (we had 2 rooms for 4 of us traveling), and were very excited to find the beds soft and comfy to sit on and at night to sleep on. I have a bad back and usually Motel beds are terribly uncomfortable. Not our beds at the Brentwood. All 4 of us commented after our first night, (we stayed 2 nights), how comfortable the beds were which allowed for a good nights rest. In the morning we stepped into the shower, only to find a shower head with several different settings, that actually functioned properly, for a refreshing start to our day. After we showered and got ready for the day we headed into the dining area to experience their FREE breakfast, only to be delighted with so many wonderful choices for the pickiest eaters. Bravo, Brentwood, we will stay there again and recommend it to all of our friends and family that might travel that way. It was truly a total delightful experience!

Wonderful
This is the third time we stayed here. We love the people here and their breakfast is super. Helen who has been in charge of breakfast for 17 years(?) was here again. We were so glad to see her. The continental breakfast is so much better than other hotels'. The room we stayed had wooden floor which we loved. Wooden floor is so much cleaner than carpeted floor. A great hotel. We will stay here again.

The location was handy to everything in town. The rooms were comfortable and the surroundings felt safe. The motel served a full breakfast with a number of tasty options. We stayed three nights and would stay here again if in the area.

The top sheet had a stain. The bedspread had red polish all over it. There was black hair all over the mattress protector and the mattress itself had two huge stains on the side! It was gross! The staff was impatient and rude about changing it. Didn’t offer to give us a different room or discount. I will never recommend or stay there again.
