Great people, smelly room

Weather was rainy. Room constantly smeeled of mildew and stagnant air. Unfortunately, it did not matter how long we left a fan or air conditioner running. I will say five stars for hotel staff, as all were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sorely lacking.

Queen size bed was actually a full size. Lobby smelled clean and I saw the staff cleaning the lobby and hallways. Room was very outdated and smelled musty. Sheets had stains on them and top blanket had burn holes. The room itself was “clean” or as clean as could be expected based on overall age and condition of the room. It was ok to sleep for one night but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel was alright. The hotel needs a little TLC, but overall was fine for what we paid for. We felt safe & enjoyed the many restaurants & amenities around the hotel.

Expectations for cheap hotel

Cheap hotel for last minute situation. Some towels giving were already dirty that was supposed to be clean. Floors in the room were wet and sticky. Missing caulking in the bathroom tub.

A decent no frills place to stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend my granddaughter’s dance competition, it was a decent place. The lady at the desk was very friendly both at check in and out, our room was pretty small but it was clean and the bed was very nice. Dog friendly was a plus, it definitely needs updated and a few repairs here and there. The breakfast selection was very limited but what there was available was good. It’s in a great location, several restaurants, a grocery store and a Walmart are available within walking distance. I was not disappointed overall, and I would stay here again.
