We. Loved our stay at this charming Bed and Breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location to explore from. You can walk everywhere from here incl. the market. Breakfast was made with love and we appreciated all the different options incl. Vegan (we did not order Vegan but love that it was offered). The other thing that we really appreciated is the focus on sustainability and the community outreach. This little business is a gem with a heart. We can’t recommend this highly enough. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely adored our stay at the Sunlight House. The staff were friendly and helpful and Leonardo was very responsive pre-check in. The location is fabulous for the old town and the room was clean, spacious and homely. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

A great place to stay

Sunlight House is a gem of a find. an easy walk to the old town and main town centre with some great recommendations on their website. Our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable and we will certainly return next time we visit Faro.

Aesthetically Charming!

This is a wonderful B&B! Aesthetically charming! Located centrally to downtown Faro, restaurants, beach ferries and excursions. The staff were helpful, attentive and very hospitable. The room was quaint and well kept. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and just add these beautiful flowers the garnish the plate.

This was a great place to stay for 1 night before heading back home from the Faro airport. The room and bathroom were both small but it was clean and comfortable. Our room had its own small terrace and there was a very nice rooftop terrace to enjoy the sunset. We left early so did not have breakfast but the breakfast room was very nice. This is well located at the old town and everything was within walking distance. There is free parking near the accommodation that was very busy but we found one of the few available spots. The Faro airport is about 15 minutes away. I would recommend Sunlight House.

Perfect location. Unfortunately, the room smelled so strongly of mildew and mold that I had an asthma attack and had to leave within 1 hour of checking in. The reception was completely unhelpful and said I was not entitled to any refund after pre-paying for three days. The receptionist even denied there was any mildew / mold and blamed me by saying I didn’t know what it was like living next to the ocean and that it is normal to have moisture in the room. (I am from Atlantic Canada, where I lived directly beside the ocean for many years, and never had to deal with this mold.) Expedia is working on this issue for me.
