Ignore the rating this is not a good hotel

Sockets were not European standard and no adapters were offered. A/c was barely functional rooms were over 25c. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly but hotel is a relic from the 70s.

The staff was amazing which really made all the difference in the world because we got off to a bad start the moment we entered our room. There had been a plumbing issue the floor below us and the foul smell hit us like a ton of bricks. The hotel was fully booked, so faucets were torneo in and fans were brought in to flush out the chemical alms sewage smells while we left to see if there could fix it while looking for another place. When it was all said and done, the smell did go away before we came back and tragedy was averted.

I intended to book a hotel in Como, but upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation was actually made for a hotel in Florence—possibly due to the fact that the same hotel chain operates in both cities. Unfortunately, this mistake only became apparent when I arrived late at night, and the hotel in Como had no record of my reservation. As a result, I was left without accommodation after midnight and had to urgently find another hotel at a much higher cost. I also lost the full amount paid for the original booking in Florence, which I could not use. This experience was extremely distressing, especially after a long day of travel. I kindly request that you review this situation and consider offering a refund or at least partial compensation for the unused booking and the additional costs I incurred due to the confusion. Great location in the heart of Florence

Great service at the front desk. Small but nice hotel. We wish the air conditioning was stronger but we managed by leaving the window open at night. Also, we would have liked better water pressure in the shower. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect.

When coming to Florence, you're only going to come back to sleep, which is what this place is perfect for. A major plus of this lovely hotel is the fact that breakfast starts at 7:30, as most of the places in Florence only open at 10am. Its location is in a very convenient place with restaurants, stores, and plazas all around. Would stay again here and would definitely recommend it.

The air conditioning is not allowed to be on due to time of year but staff offered us a fan for the room which was great. Our travel adapters we had been using in many other cities did not fit the plugs there so had to buy New ones just for Florence. There was construction around the hotel so woke us up at 7am with the noise and had one of the workers outside of our bathroom window seeing us in the bathroom which was awkward.

Took a cab from train station to property . Definitely too far to walk especially with luggage. Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was offered for 15 Euro per person. The offerings didn’t seem to be worth the high price. We skipped it and went out for pastries and cappuccino in the mornings. Beautiful city with lots to see and admire. Awesome quality shopping, but in many cases very expensive. Would highly recommend this hotel for value, walkability and convenience. I
