Beautiful little hotel in a perfect location - a few blocks from the train station, one block from the tour bus stop and the market, a few blocks from El Duomo and from there, a few more blocks to the Uffizi and the river. Perfect! The staff was always helpful; they even set up breakfast for us an hour and a half early so we could catch a train. Breakfast, by the way, was terrific. This was the second time I'd stayed at this hotel and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Spacious, Clean and Well Located- HIghly Recommend

We highly recommend Art Atelier. We stayed in the dependency and had a very spacious room with a sitting room and outdoor garden. Quiet and clean. The breakfast was fabulous. We were able to walk to Santa Maria Novella train station with our suitcases. We will definitely reserve his hotel again.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They went above and beyond and offered us earlier check in and later check out to accommodate our tour and flight. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located about a 5–10 minute walk from the train station, depending on your pace and how much luggage you’re carrying. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the complimentary breakfast included a full spread with hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, including a variety of ethnic options—not just Italian. There are also a couple of laundromats nearby, which is handy if you need to do a quick load of laundry. Just be sure to bring coins, as the change machine doesn’t always work. The location is excellent—close to many popular tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Florence!

Great hotel close to Santa Maria Novella.

This is our favorite place to stay when we train up to Florence. It’s only about two blocks from Santa Maria Novella, and it’s on a quiet street. At the same time a couple of right turns and you’re in the heart of restaurants and small shops. The lobby is beautifully made, and maintained in the rooms are clean, spacious, with plenty of storage space and an electronic information device. The bathrooms are also spacious and I personally love their showers as they are easy to access and easy to adjust both the height and the water temperature. They have a great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff willing to help you with anything you need. My girlfriend needed a quick cab to the airport And staff quickly helped her obtain a cab. This is a very nice hotel and one of my favorites. When you are arriving in Florence, there is no better place to stay.

The property was lovely. Walking distance to everything and the train station was a hop skip and a jump away. The breakfast was amazing, and was ready earlier than expected, so our early tour at 7 did not prevent us from picking up a croissant before heading out.
