Beautiful Historic hotel with wondfer gardens

Althoufh we only stayed 2 nights, it was a wonderful experience. Walking distance to downtown and lots of local restaurants. I would certainly stay at the hotel again!!

The property is right on a piazza and the windows are old school making it a little noisy at night and in the morning when the church bells ring. It was also a hefty walk from the train station over bumpy streets if you have luggage. Having said that the staff was super friendly, the breakfast was great and it was SUPER cool staying in a historic monastery.

A most beautiful building in an old convent. It’s on the quiet side of the river and surrounded by the best family run restaurants that were amazing. Also close to all the sites and shopping. While it may be rated only 2 stars for the lack of amenities it could be 5 star if it was staged right. Loved it!!!

Very much enjoyed my night at Casa Santo Nome di Gesu. It lies right in the piazza with the Cappella Brancacci and the Chiesa di Santa Maria del Carmine. It is a Franciscan property with proper bedrooms with ensuite baths. It is not the Four Seasons, so the rating is based on my expectation and enjoyment from what is provided by a religious house's offerings. It's a lovely old building (13th Century establishment) with a 24-hour reception and a very nice breakfast which was included. The walled garden is tranquil, but there is no bar on the premises, even though the Church does not frown on alcohol. A pleasure.

Really liked the location of the hotel as it was close to all major tourist attractions. Staff were very friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was top notch. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the city area but also appreciates some quiet.
