Such a strange place,lobby is nice,breakfast is pretty good outside of the juice it was strange.elevator was out on our side making us take a fire escape to get up to our room.most of the place smelled of weed.room was clean and nice though but the rest of the hotel needs updated bad.pictures that they use do not reflect current state.We wouldn’t go back until it gets updated.

This place needs to be condemned for mold. AC units do not cool and are visibly covered in mold. Halls smell like dead fish. 1 working elevator that had beer spilled and front desk said it would get cleaned when housekeeping got there… after 9am. Spiders in room. Fire escape locked on one side due to roof leak per front desk. All key access doors unlocked but one. Shower so dirty I had to wear shoes in it. Pool water cloudy. Courtyard covered in broken furniture and ant hills. Holes in walls with water leaks in common areas

My only issue was the cleanliness of the rooms and the unrepaired aspects of building in general. Staff was great. First room smelled so musty I asked to me moved and was relocated to one that just smelled of cigarette smoke instead. Slept well in the bed and the property is conveniently located. Kind of a rundown place overall and only had one working elevator which someone vomited in on night one, so it was stairs for the rest of my visit.

The staff at Hotel Clarion were extremely helpful and very pleasant—definitely the highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The building is very old and run down, and while the hallways were generally clean, the overall facility felt dirty and neglected. Outside the hotel, the grounds were cluttered with brush, leaves, and limbs. Inside, the TVs didn’t work, the bathrooms were not clean (including dirty commodes), and there were no real amenities offered. The continental breakfast was very limited. On a positive note, the beds looked comfortable, but overall, I would rate my experience as poor, apart from the excellent staff.
