This is a wonderful hotel with a wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful in every way. Our room was immaculate and spacious, worth every penny, though there were quite a few of those pennies! The breakfast is incredible as were the attendants. The location is great, a little quieter and away from the center, but close enough to walk everywhere. Easy access to the train. We will be staying here again and I travel with a small child who was made very welcome. Thank you, GH Minerva.

This place is one of the coolest locations in Europe, and right next to the train station and central shopping district. It’s a true luxury hotel in the classic European style. It’s delivers exactly what you expect and more when booking a hotel of this level.

This is an excellent hotel. I don’t understand why this is a 4 star hotel. It is better than most 5star hotels I have used. The room, restaurant, bar and staff were great. It is really convenient for all the attractions (most of which I could see from our window).

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, especially if you're traveling in/out by train since you can readily walk to the station. The property itself is fine and has definitely been upgraded more recently but it feels like a stretch to call the experience "superb" as is flagged in Expedia ratings logic.

An upmarket hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Florence. The rooftop swimming pool with a view towards the Duomo and many other magnificent landmarks is a lovely place to refresh after a busy day’s sightseeing!
