Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and took extra time to help us search for restaurants, tours, etc. The room was very big, clean and in such a great location. I can not recommend enough. Great place to stay.

This stay was incredible. Very close to the Duomo, market, excellent restaurants. Alessandro was an absolute pleasure. There is no lift, but service was great, and assistance with my unreasonably heavy bag was provided with pleasure. Cozy rooms as to be expected in the part of the city but the location,service, and charm can't be beat. Busy area but quiet in the rooms. Comfortable bedding (which is not always easy to find in Europe). Great value. 100% recommend.

Good clean hotel, with only a few rooms. Very conveniently located to major must see spots in Florence. All within walking distance. Breakfast options were great and quality was very good. Staff was nice enough to allow us to take out breakfast, when we had an early morning sight-seeing tour.

Hotel Accademia in Florence was a very nice hotel in the heart of the city . . . very close to the Duomo, and to the Santa Maria Novella train station. Our room was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A very nice breakfast spread was provided each morning. The location was great for just walking around Florence and was convenient to return to for a mid-day rest. Be aware that some rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts (and a substantial number of stairs!), but this was not a problem for us at all. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return . . . highly recommended!

Nice Hotel in a Convenient Location

We enjoyed our two night stay in this historic building. The location is in a very convenient location to access the train and walk to all the historic sites. There are a variety of good restaurants and bars on this street. The desk staff, especially Alex(?) is courteous and helpful. The room and bed are comfortable, bathroom plenty spacious. This hotel has no elevator but we had no problem carrying our bags up to the third floor. The price was very reasonable for the location. We would stay here again.

We could not park anywhere close to the hotel! This makes absolutely no sense to visitors from another country, There was no heads up at all about this! The gentleman at the front desk stopped everything he was doing to help us and he was great! He went above and beyond for us. It’s too bad he has to deal with this nonsense.
