This hotel is in a great location. You can walk everywhere and the easily stop back into the hotel for a rest if needed. The staff from the front desk, to doormen, to the cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were all so accommodating and helpful. I would easily stay here again. My only suggestion for the hotel is you didn't have any nice glasses in the room. If someone wants to share a bottle of wine after a busy day, there was no glasses in the room to enjoy a glass of wine with. They should consider setting up a small bar area in each room - with glasses and a bucket for ice, wine opener,...

Perfection

We visited Florence to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday and chose Hotel Berchielli for its proximity to everything we wanted to see and do. It was an absolutely perfect base - immaculately maintained hotel, wonderful customer service with very friendly and approachable staff, a spacious room and all exactly as described.

Excellent value with lots of charm!

Hotel Berchielli is a great spot, a beautiful hotel on the Lungarno, it is really a great value. The staff is helpful and nice, the breakfast room, food and service are all very accommodating. I like that they have turn down service and a bar downstairs. Great location and the whole place has a good deal of charm.

Great location. Booked room with two beds was given one bed and one sofa bed instead which was uncomfortable. Main complain is very low water pressure therefore taking a shower was a challenge

Best breakfast and wonderful stay

We were upgraded to a suite and we loved it. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The absolute best breakfast is served daily. Cured meats, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, granola and cold cereal options, wide variety of pastries, eggs, sausage, assorted water and juices, cappuccino, American coffee. Lived breakfast. Location is beautiful and convenient to attractions. Would love to stay here again.

Hotel Berchielli, great hotel, great location

I only stayed 1 night in Florence at Hotel Berchielli. It was a great hotel and in a great location for all the shopping and tourist shops (Christmas). I very much enjoyed walking around the narrow streets and going in all the shops. I was in room 507, the door to my room is on the 5th floor but as soon as you open the door you have a set of stairs that takes you up to the bedroom and bathroom. I am sure it is due to retrofitting the older hotels.

Great Staff, Great Location - Consistently!

Have stayed here multiple times. The staff is super friendly and helpful - the front desk, breakfast room and bar staff! All are great. Awesome location right along the Arno and short walking distances to all the top spots. Still has the old world charm. Very clean, daily room cleaning. Laundry service great too. No English language TV news channels, so if that is important to you, you won't get it here. For me, the break is a good thing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location overlooking the river and famous bridges. Real windows that open for taking in the sites and sounds. Close to the major museums. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The bartender even made a food order for me although it was after hours. From check in to putting me in a taxi to the airport, everyone was wonderful. Property was beautiful and well-maintained.

Outstanding!!! Absolutely beautiful, and perfect location!!! The staff was beyond helpful. Our room had the most amazing views, and is within 15 minutes walking distance of everything!!! The perfect place to enjoy Florence, day and night!!! Highly recommend it.
