The hotel really should be a 5 star hotel. We travel to Florence twice a year and could not be more impressed with this hidden gem. It is in a small private courtyard and a five minute walk to the Duomo. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are impeccably clean and the maid service is outstanding. There is a restaurant across the courtyard that we dined at twice even though we have friends that own restaurants in Firenze. We are accustomed to 5 star experiences with Ritz, Auberge, and Four Seasons and we gave this hotel a try because we were in a hurry, We got really lucky!

Location & Amazing Staff

The doorman, Umberto, was the top of his profession. We were lost driving into the city - they sent a person 6 blocks over to walk us down the streets to the front of the hotel. The hotel is lovely and the best location. I've stayed in Florence many times - I will return to this hotel from now on.
