The staff was great, both housekeeping and the front desk staff spoke English well and were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was perfect: cappuccino, croissant and yogurt. I had a twin room which was small but had everything I needed. There are several restaurants on the same street which were delicious with friendly servers. It’s a 10 minute walk from the Duomo. Hotel Burchianti was a lucky find.

I liked the reception and friendly reception. But access to the property could be much more clear. I didn’t like the interior single bedroom particularly but it was clean and functional so for one night in the centre of Firenze it was perfect.

Had a wonderful stay here. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who had our room ready for us right away. He gave us clear information for the building and the breakfast. The other women working went above and beyond to make sure we felt like VIP. The hotel lobby and courtyard are beautiful. The room was lovely. Felt like we were staying in a Tuscan villa. Fresco on the ceiling and the decor really added to the ambiance. Would recommend this place and would stay again.

Perfect location on aside street between the train station and the cathedral. Beautiful old palazzo, our room had 16th century frescoes on the ceiling. Convenience store and restaurants nearby. Bathroom was renovated, staff very helpful.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. 5 to 10 minute walk to the train station and to the cathedral. Was very central and walkable to a lot of places. They have a cute little courtyard and it was nice and quiet even though it was in the city center. I would stay there again, highly recommended.

I’ll start with the positives—great location, and Laura, the hostess/concierge, was lovely. She was lovely and very helpful and sweet. The ceilings/paintings in the rooms are beautiful and apparently date back to the 16th century, adding charm to the stay. Now the negatives—extremely noisy. The walls are paper-thin, and you can literally hear everything. We stayed in Room 5, and could clearly hear noise from the main area, the street outside, and the rooms on both sides of us. The bed and mattress were also really old, creaky, and made noise whenever we moved. It felt like the furniture was from the 16th century too. The pillows were uncomfortable as well. The worst part was dealing with Mario, one of the male staff members. He was rude and unpleasant. When I politely asked for earplugs and mentioned the noise from the mattress, he immediately became defensive and started speaking loudly to me. He said I was the first person to complain and could go read reviews that no one else had issues. He also claimed they didn’t provide earplugs because no one had ever reported noise problems. This was clearly untrue as other reviews mention the same issues. For the price of the rooms, you'd think they’d invest in updating the beds, mattresses, and pillows. Hopefully, they’ll improve this and give Mario some basic training in customer service.

Located on the first floor of a typical Florentine residential building this place spoke of elegance from the moment I entered. An extremely friendly and efficient lady checked me in early and look after my bags which she kindly offered to move to my room once it was free. The decor is beautiful here and my room, though small (you get what you pay for), was comfortable. Good quiet sleep was provided courtesy of blockout blinds. The bathroom was well appointed. It's a 5 minute walk from the railway station and about 10-15 mins to the Duomo and the Arno. It made my stay easy. Directly downstairs is a local style restaurant that was brilliant.

Hotel Burchianti is a great discovery, it’s only small but has lots of character and very helpful staff. It is close to everything - so very easy to walk around. If you opt for breakfast, it’s excellent value at €7 per person… no meat , eggs and cheese - but more than made up for by everything else. Room was comfortable - I slept really well

This is a boutique style hotel In a nice location close to train station. Staff were friendly and our double room was spacious with good A/C. The bathroom is a bit dated and the hot water was very hot as compared to North America. In any case, we would recommend.
