From our first contact everything was “Tutto benissimo” The staff was excellent and friendly. The hotel was in a great area near the Santa Maria Novella station Easy walking to sights When we were leaving there was a train strike and the staff helped us look for alternate transport to our next destination. it was a nice stay.. only 1 night stay but staff very friendly and informative. we dont stay in room much other than to sleep and shower so served it purpose and was clean nice bar and terrace area. 10 min walk to trains and plenty of eating options near by.

No comfort for the amount you pay
People at the front desk were very nice. But the room was too small for 3 people and very noisy in the mornings since our room was very next to breakfast area. Also the mosquitoes were very annoying even they put at the last night electric mosquito repellent. There wasn’t iron and ironing board in the room that is every hotel equipped in USA . Someone in the adjacent room every morning and evening was very noisy moving something. So in overall we weren’t very happy about staying at this hotel.

All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was comfortable with a nice courtyard. The room was average in size but very clean. Great location for walking to any museum/attractions.

My room faced the street, rue nazionale, opposite main palazzo. The room was not soundproof though advertised as such. Would not stay there again unless a room in back were available. The breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. There is a piano in the entrance hallway which apparently random people from the street come in and use, though after 10 pm it is not supposed to be played. This did not deter some people and I had to ask for them to be told that stop.

Ok stay. Beds were very hard and the A/C didn't seem to work. Not the worst, not the best. However it was the most expensive hotel of the whole vacation across Europe, booked months in advance. Not sure why it was so expensive, but it wasn't a bad stay. Very local to the train station.

Overall I was happy with my stay. Day staff were exceptional. Rooms and hotel clean. Perfect location and safe. Rooms are dated and not sound proofed so you can hear the people in other rooms with shared walls and in the hall ways. Breakfast was exceptional recommend including this with your room. I had early excursions on 2/3 days so I only had breakfast once and it was really good. I am an early riser and came down to get coffee to find the overnight coffee was still there. When I asked one of the night shift staff for fresh coffee he kind of had an attitude about it. I would suggest having night staff make fresh coffee around 5 am for those who wake early. I do not like instant coffee that was in the room. The fridge in the room was not very cold. I would not drink any of the items in the fridges. The water for showers does not get hot, more like slightly above warm. I like hot showers/baths. My room had a bathtub, but the water was not hot enough to take a bath. Overall I would stay here again.
