We loved Hotel Collodi! Great location, just one block from the central market. Walking distance to everything! Large, spacious room. Very quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Simple but good breakfast. Breakfast room was a little tight but everyone was very gracious to allow access to move around.

Be aware this property is not easy for handicapped guests. The lift only goes up 1 floor and is so tiny only a foldable mobility scooter fits. 46 stsirs to floor 2

The breakfast was very good. Dinning area clean, a variety of breakfast food options and manager always checking and refreshing trays. Though our room was on the second floor…. Lots of stairs, the old world feel was exactly what we wanted.

Great location…a little tired.
The location of this place is amazing, literally 50 ft from the Central Market. If there was a roof deck on premises (like in the photo) no one told us about it but to be fair it was raining. Room was clean. Shower was not - lots of mildew. Staff was very helpful and kind. Rock hard pillows. It worked for us but definitely NOT a luxury experience.

Perfect location just steps from central market & Duomo. Very walkable from train station. Friendly & helpful staff. Our room (403) was very quiet. Temperature was fine with fan in mid October, not sure how it would be in July. Recommended.

Nice small hotel which was close to museums and sites in city. Staff great. Staff helped us with maps and recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. Breakfast good, great coffee. Room was cleaned daily which included fresh towels. Overall wonderful experience.

The hotel was more than expected: very friendly staff, very clean and spatious rooms, steps from city center. We had to leave the next day before the breakfast was open for a tour and they provided us with some snacks and yogurt the day before - very accomodating. It was a great experience for us

5 stars! My wife and I chose this hotel because it was walking distance from the train station and it was an excellent choice! The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Every one of the staff were very helpful but especially Nadine! She offered us lots of helpful tips. The breakfast is also very good and there are many great restaurants in the immediate area. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Lovely Hosts
The manager was delightful and helpful and willing to go beyond to help us have a good stay. We arrived early and he insured that we could check into our room and put our bags away so that we could begin enjoying Florence immediately The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Noisy street meant closed windows, which would be ok but the AC was not up to the task. Breakfast was simple but good. Great location and hosts. Would stay here again.
