I arrived end of May when night time temperatures were 55 degrees and no blanket on the bed. She handed me about 3 sheets for the night. Apparently no way to get them at 7 pm!?!! At least the heater then AC worked. Only liquid soap in shower. No conditioner etc as shown in ad. Advised by staff to buy inexpensive bottled water as she said tap water was not potable. Nice to have a fridge to keep it cool. Could add a shelf in shower to place toiletries. Having an extra bath mat would be nice since floor gets wet due to no shower door. Only 15 minutes of hot water at a time. Basic minimal decor that photographs well. Great location. Rain head shower nice. 1 block from Ufizzi gallery so in the heart of old town.

Floor gets wet. As an American I would rather have a wider shower than a bidet.
Basic furniture. Old town. Nice firm bed. Good outlets and nightstands on both sides.

Conveniently located in old town Florence Good food steps away Staff is friendly Property is kept very clean The beds are very comfortable We liked the rainfall shower head, though the shower stall is very narrow and there is no place to put soap or other items Breakfast is adequate Looking at the photos that the property posted on Expedia, where are the free toiletries, terrace/patio with plants, garden and chair in room? We were told the water is not drinkable. Guests required to pay for water. No facial tissues available No hand towels Change towels q2 days mandatory schedule No tea kettle available neither in room or on request No 24 hour reception (as was advertised on Expedia) Has Elevators, but there are also unavoidable stairs to get to rooms No chair in room (As was advertised in photos on Expedia)

In a great location right by the Uffizi! I loved walking around every day, and being in a central/touristy area made me feel generally safe as a solo traveler, even walking back to the hotel late at night. Room and bathroom are small, and when I first got there it had a very slight odd smell. But if you’re going to be on the go a lot like I was this is a good and affordable place to lay your head!

Very nice staff. Breakfast was limited with not that many options. Hot water ran out and shower was dark. Sheets could have been cleaner as we found mosquitos on the pillows.

I will be contacting Expedia. How dare you charge me almost $500 for that dorm style room with a smelly bathroom that was constantly leaking all I could hear was a drip drip drip all night. The toilet paper was paper thin. You charged me way too much the facility. I am in in Rome cost the same price and is gorgeous compared to what you provided to me in Florence. It was no bigger or better than a dorm room. So tiny, I will be contacting Expedia for a credit. It was way overpriced, and if Expedia does not give me a credit, I will never use them again after using them for the past two decades. It really they really missed the mark on this one.
