Hotel Kraft sits on the SW edge of Firenze north of the Arno in a very quaint neighborhood. The staff are verybwelcoming and polite and have helped several times making arrangements on our behalf. The rooms are spacious by European standards but the walls can be a little thin, so ask the staff to keep boisterous guests quiet. While we didnt have a chance to dine in,the rooftop has amazing views of the city. For those who have plans to stage out to thr coubtrysidr, the majority of car rental offices are nearby as are their storage garages making walking to and from very easy for adventuring out into Tuscany. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Hotel Kraft over the last 10 years. I appreciate many aspects to the hotel. I did think the breakfast wasn't as fresh and good as it was in the past, and I wish the was more accessible with a gradual walk in, as I was unable to use it. This hotel was great! It was such an easy walk from the train station and we were within a 20min walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were super comfortable and well stocked. We even got to use the rooftop pool that was heated and had a great view.

Hotel Kraft is an excellent place to stay in Florence. It’s ideal for anyone looking for a quieter stay, a bit removed from the bigger attractions in the city. The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful during our stay. Due to national train strikes, our train to Pisa was cancelled. The hotel staff took time to find alternative options for us. Beautiful hotel in a quieter part of the city. Easy walk to the centre. Great room with high ceiling and good air con. Recommend at least one dinner on the rooftop terrace - amazing views. Small roof terrace and pool but very welcome after a hot day walking. Lovely staff.

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful decor, friendly staff, great breakfast and awesome pool with views! Our family of 4 stayed in a quadruple room, it was spacious and had nice storage options. There was a king bed and two twin beds in our room with a balcony. The location was a 15 min walk from train station and 15 min walk to main tourist areas. It was lovely to leave busy tourist section and head back to relax at the quiet hotel during the trip. If we visit Florence again, we'll definitely stay here!
