We stayed there for 4 days (09/30-10/01). we liked the location close to everything. Also, we like the Wifi that we did not have difficult handling work related issues remotely, which made our vacation in Italy easy without worries. We will be back soon.

The hotel location is absolutely 5 stars with convenient walking distance to all major attractions. But the facility is about average. For comfortable sleeping, it can be just 1 star for a room next to street- very noisy or 3 stars in a quieter room in the middle of the facility. We ere given a room with window to street, we could not sleep at all whole night with constant noises from street. The front desk staff kindly changed an inside room for us which was much quieter, had good 2 nights of sleep. In general, I think it is a kind of average as whole with 3 stars.

This is a budget hotel and it certainly feels like one. Booked last minute due to a change in travel plans and it was fine- no frills whatsoever. It’s very well located to all of the main sites in Florence and felt pretty safe and clean. Breakfast was simple but a good way to start the day. Street noise at night but that is to be expected due to the location. If you are looking to be in the mix and don’t plan on spending a lot of time in the room, it is a decent choice for the price.

Very unsafe for seniors or anybody over 5 foot
The hotel is beautiful but the shower/bathtub is very unsafe. You need to step up over 24 inches into the tiny little bathtub that has a slope in it making it unsafe to stand in. The shower lever did not stay up so if u want continuous water during your shower you need to hold it on. Additionally, the width of the area is tiny, ensuring that you can only rotate like a rotisserie chicken, and your feet can at max be placed 5 inches apart. There is no bar to hold onto in the shower for stability. The breakfast was disappointing. The entire bathroom ceiling has ugly slats to prevent looking at the ventilation which are still slightly visible.
